Dual Credit and Running Start Informational Meeting

SAVE THE DATE - DUAL CREDIT & RUNNING START INFORMATIONAL MEETING!
The Mead School District will host a Virtual Dual Credit & Running Start Information Night on Tuesday, March 2nd, from 6:00 - 7:00pm.
This is a great opportunity for 10th and 11th grade students and parents. Representatives from EWU, SFCC, and SCC, who will talk about traditional Dual Credit & Running Start options as well as the new Running Start for Careers (RS4C) partnership. More information regarding RS4C can be found here.

Picture Day

Picture Day:

Dorian will be providing school pictures on Thursday, November 5th, 2020, from 9am-1:30pm.

Secondary students from Five Mile and North Star students will have this opportunity. Come by anytime from 9-1:30 and jump in line. Your student’s photo will be in their cumulative folder and on their lanyard. A package will be available for purchase as well.

Hi-Cap Nomination Period April 3-16

Each year, in accordance with RCW 28A.185.030, school districts across Washington are required to implement procedures for the nomination, assessment, and selection of students for highly-capable designation.  Nominations may be received for any K-12 student from teachers, other staff, parents, students, and members of the community.

Daily Health Attestation Survey Information

Prior to midnight before an in-person school day, parents need to "attest" to their child's health by completing the Daily Health Attestation Survey through an online service that will be sent to them via email or text at 3:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Read more...

2020-2021 Reopening Plan

To provide flexibility, the Mead School Board has approved offering a choice in learning options to its families.
