How do I register my student for clubs?
Students must have ALL their paperwork in, be entered in the WINGS system, and a Written Student Learning Plan must be in place before club registration can take place.
Each student must FIRST register for a club with a certified teacher, marked in blue on the schedule. Then students can enroll in up to 9 more clubs for a total of ten.
Step 1: Look at the club schedule and choose the clubs you would like your child to take. Some will be full, so consider a 1st and 2nd choice at least.
Step 2: Read the club descriptions to make sure the clubs you select for your child are a good fit.
Club Descriptions have been posted in the "Clubs" section of the website. If there is a conflict in WINGS regarding the club offerings or descriptions, the club listed on the website, the WEBSITE descriptions are correct.
Step 3: Make sure you have your username and password for WINGS. You should have received this at enrollment. Call the office if you do not have it at 465-7730. KEEP THIS PASSWORD SAFE AND HANDY. You will need it throughout your years at North Star.
Step 4: We are using the WINGS system to register for clubs. They are referred to on the WINGS Platform as "Classes". Instructions for registering through the WINGS program are provided through the attached document below. Download it to follow the directions as you register. Remember to press the "confirm enrollment" button after enrolling in each club. The link to WINGS is found under "Quick Links" on our home page.
