This annual Mead School District event, featuring student art work, a make & take booth, live music and a local artist demo & showcase, will be Saturday, April 22 from noon-5 pm at Mead High School. Admission: K-6 grade free, 7-12 grade $2, adults $5, family $15, Mead SD employees free.
Youth and Government Representative - Gabby Alvarez!
NorthStar's own Gabby Alvarez just returned from Washington D.C. where she represented Washington State for the YMCA National Youth Advocacy Days. This was the first time someone from Eastern Washington was chosen for this position. While she was there she met with our state representatives and senators on behalf of the YMCA Youth and Government Program.
